Putting Bistro into Bistro

I love to travel to a different tune. Most people today put on MapQuest, Google Maps and take the highways and byways that are laid out for them. Not me. The slow road is the best road. Traveling through small towns. Getting to see the real and true way of life. Smelling, feeling, and tasting what life really is.

In doing this I have come across some of the greatest mom and pop restaurants, cafes, diners, pubs, and bistros. Each town having local pride and transition. Bringing taste to the plate.

My stop today, Solanas Bistro in Beachwood New Jersey. Now the downtown area is not very big. There's your mega drug store, ice cream store, local convince store, and not much more. But the gem in all this is the Bistro.

Now all Bistros are quite different. Solana's, well do tell. The atmosphere relaxing and welcoming. The staff knowledgeable and friendly, but the food is amazing.

The menu consists of everything from breakfast to dinner. I, however, was there for dinner. So let me share.
